What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday to Friday* 9:30am to 6:00pm (*Wednesdays we open at 12:00), Saturday 9:30am - 5:30pm, Sundays 12noon - 5:00pm.
How quickly can my digital photos be printed?
At most times we can print your images whilst you wait - so a matter of minutes!
Do you do passport photos?
Yes. Our passport photos are taken by our photographic experts - not a machine! A UK or EU passport photo is £6. A non-EU passport photo is £10. All passport photos meet the new regulations and can be done whilst you wait.
Do you develop film?
Yes, we can process 35mm, colour and black and white as well as 120 and APS.Unfortunately we are unable to process E6 (transparancy) or large format.
How big can you print?
We can print up to 44 inches wide...
What size should my digital images be?
As a guide we recommend at least 200dpi (dots per inch) at the size printed. Beyond 400dpi and there is no real gain in quality. Below 200 dpi and your image may appear a bit blurry.
I have a colour photo. Can it be printed black and white?
Yes. You can either convert it your self on the self-service kiosk or leave it with us and for a small additional charge we can do it for you.
Can I email my order to you?
Certainly. Please email your photos to shop@robbiesphotographics.comDon't forget to include your name, telephone number, what size you would like your photos printed and whether you would like a gloss or matt finish. E-mail orders are, as standard, treated as a next-day order. If you would like your photos any quicker please let us know.
Do you have an FTP drop box for my large digital images?
Unfortunately at the moment no, but it is something we are looking into.
Can you print me a poster, leaflet or greetings card?
Yes we can, but please note that we are photographic printers and so we print onto photographic paper, which is a lot more expensive than standard paper. If you are requiring general printing (posters, leaflets, birthday invitations, cards, etc) you will be better off going to a general printers.
Can you design me an invitation for my party?
Unfortunately no as we are not trained designers. We are happy to recommend other local businesses who may be able to help.
